We're Parents. We Wanted Something Different.
Our kids wanted more independence. We wanted them to have it, without handing them everything that comes with a smartphone. So we built Waffle.
Real connection. More independence. No screen required.
WHY WAFFLE EXISTS
We Wanted A Phone.
Not Everything That Comes With One.
Our kids reached that age.
They wanted to call their friends. Talk to Grandma. Go a little further without us. Do more things for themselves.
And we wanted to say yes.
But the options felt like too much, too soon. Apps. Social media. Browsers. Notifications. Algorithms. A whole world we weren't ready to put in their pockets.
We didn't want to slow down their independence.
We just wanted a simpler way to give it to them.
So we built Waffle.
Childhood doesn't need
